On June 27th, Walt Disney World released new details about the Be Our Guest restaurant that will be located in the New Fantasyland expansion in the Magic Kingdom. We now have a better idea of what Disney guests can expect when they journey to Beast’s Castle!
Reservations will open in late August, and the restaurant is scheduled to open sometime prior to the holiday season. If you’re planning a trip for the holiday season, stay tuned; exact dates will soon be announced.
Be Our Guest will house three dining rooms, with space for more than 500 guests, and will offer different menus for lunch and dinner. During lunch, the restaurant will offer “quick service;” guests order their food at an electronic terminal or with a Disney cashier, and their order will be delivered to the table. Dinner will be served in the traditional table service style.

No prices are included in Disney’s announcement, leading us to wonder where Be Our Guest will fall on the park’s dollar sign rating. Considering the dining options in the Magic Kingdom and the complexity of the announced menu, we expect the price per guest to range from $15-$20 for lunch to $40-$50 for dinner.
Be Our Guest is going to be a wonderful addition to the park’s dining options for a number of reasons. Not only will it bring some much needed Beauty and the Beast flair to Fantasyland, it will also serve as a second, less expensive alternative to Cinderella’s Royal Table. This will be a perfect choice for families hoping to treat their princesses to the royal treatment, or for couples hoping for a romantic dinner that costs less than $150.
Between Be Our Guest and Gaston’s Pub, New Fantasyland will offer new dining options for guests with budgets of all sizes and will fill an essential gap in the Magic Kingdom’s dining options. We’re counting down the months to opening day!
