Through April 6th, SeaWorld Orlando visitors will have the opportunity to try a new dining option offered for the Spring Break season. The Ocean Terrace Lunch Buffet, located at the Dine with Shamu venue in the park, if available from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The cost for adult attendees is $19, but children can dine for as a little as $9.
The adult menu includes turkey and gravy, beef stew, chicken cacciatore, an assortment of salads, an assortment of cookie and brownie desserts, and the children’s menu features hot dogs, mac and cheese, carrots with ranch dressing and pudding.
Although I am a big fan of SeaWorld’s food offerings and the high quality of its culinary options, I personally wouldn’t pay $19 to give this dining option a try. The turkey and beef stew entrees seem out of season and too heavy for the springtime Orlando sunshine, and the dessert selection leaves something to be desired. For $19, an adult can purchase a full meal of chicken, brisket, ribs and a side with a dessert and a drink at Voyager’s Smokehouse.
This week, Theme Park Foodie wrote a column for Orlando Attractions Magazine reviewing SeaWorld Orlando’s Dine with Shamu experience. SeaWorld also recently shared the review with fans of its Facebook page and its Twitter followers!
We’ve included the first paragraph here, but be sure to visit Attractions Magazine to read the full review.
On Sept. 7, SeaWorld Orlando announced a new offer for its recently reopened Dine with Shamu experience. “Kids Eat Free at Dine with Shamu” runs now through Dec. 25. The promotion offers a free children’s meal (ages 3-9) for every full-priced adult reservation purchased. This is a great time for families to give the park’s premiere dining experience a try. Team Theme Park Foodie enjoyed lunch at Dine with Shamu in early August, and we highly recommend it for SeaWorld veterans and first-time visitors alike.

This morning, SeaWorld Orlando announced a delicious new deal for families visiting the park between now and December 25th! A post on the company’s Facebook page made the following announcement:
At SeaWorld Orlando “Kids Eat Free at Dine with Shamu” Receive a FREE child’s (ages 3–9) meal with each new full-paid adult reservation made between September 1 and December 25, 2012.
In our opinion, this is the best dining deal that SeaWorld Orlando has ever offered. Children’s tickets to the Dine with Shamu dining experience are $24, making it one of the priciest children’s meals in Orlando.
The cost is absolutely worth it! We’ll be sharing our review of the dining experience soon at Orlando Attractions Magazine, but the very least we can share now is that the food was delicious, the experience was once-in-a-lifetime quality, and the staff were delightful. Dine with Shamu is a wonderful experience for families, and we can think of very few reasons not to take advantage of this deal!
