Q:HI Foodie looking at meal deals at MK, IOA and US is it worth it and just how eatable is the food. We have breakfast organised at part of the accommodation booking and have a party of 4 ( Two adults and two girls one aged 16 and one 10 ) also we have jam packed the holiday with things to do so need to keep costs down

Anonymous

Hello!

In my opinion, the meal deals at Universal Studios an Walt Disney World are not a great value. The meal deal dining offerings at IOA and USF are very limited and do not include many of the best restaurants in the parks. At Disney, the meal plan is flexible and can be designed to meet your needs, but very few people actually save money using it because of all of the limitations tied to the plan.

To keep costs low, have a large breakfast before going into the parks and eat a late lunch/early dinner in the parks. You will still have the opportunity to enjoy the dining options in the parks, but won’t break the bank!

FULL MENU: SeaWorld’s Expedition Cafe

image

Photo by Joe Burbank of the Orlando Sentinel

SeaWorld’s new realm Antarctica officially opens on May 24th, and the expansion (the largest in the theme park’s history) features a new dining location. Expedition Cafe is a quick-service dining location that is designed to resemble a research outpost in Antarctica. The menu was crafted to reflect the types of food that would be served at research locations depending upon the nationalities of researchers located there. Pretty cool touch, huh? Italian, American and Asian fare are available at Expedition Cafe. The menu’s set up and pricing leads us to believe that this dining location will be included on the All Day Dining Deal, but it may not be initially included due to high interest in the Antarctica expansion.
